Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Business govern the relationship between Les Vins Célestes and our Internet customers (“you” or the “Customer”). By making an online booking, you agree to all of these General Terms and Conditions of Business to the exclusion of any other terms or conditions. you also certify that you have capacity to contract with Les Vins Célestes on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions of Business and warrant that all the information you have provided is true and correct.
Disclaimer
Customers and other participants take part in the tours and other activities offered by Les Vins Célestes at their own risk. We accept no liability for any death, physical injury, illness, theft or schedule changes related to strikes or bad weather. We can assume neither costs incurred as a result of the curtailment of tours or other activities nor travelling, medical or hospital expenses incurred by Customers or other participants. We accept no liability for theft or loss of items on tours or during other activities. We accept no liability for any error or negligence on the part of our suppliers or partners.
Sales to persons under 18
By agreeing to these General Terms and Conditions of Business, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age. The tours organised by Les Vins Célestes all include wine tastings. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under 18 and we therefore reserve the right to refuse to allow those under 18 to join our tours.
Products
The descriptions of our tours are intended as a guide only and are not contractual documents. The photographs featured on our website (www.les-vins-celestes.com) are provided for the purposes of illustration and, similarly, are not contractual documents. Les Vins Célestes accepts no liability for any errors or omissions relating to images or texts published on the website.
Price, terms of sale
The prices indicated on our website (www.les-vins-celestes.com) are in Euros (EUR).
Les Vins Célestes reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, the price billed will be the price shown at the time of payment.
Promotional discounts offered during marketing campaigns advertised on our website (www.les-vins-celestes.com) will be deducted directly from the amount billed.
Product offers apply as long as they appear on our website (www.les-vins-celestes.com) and subject to availability.
Bookings
Payment
Orders are deemed final on confirmation of the corresponding credit card payment.
All bookings must be paid for in advance as billed via PayPal. If you have not paid for your tour 72 hours before it starts, Les Vins Célestes reserves the right to refuse to allow you to join the tour on the scheduled date.
Cancellation
Cancellation by Les Vins Célestes:Any amount you have paid in advance will be refunded to you in full.
Cancellation by the Customer:
- If you cancel your booking at least seven days before your scheduled tour date, we will reimburse the full cost of your tour.
- If you cancel your booking four to six days before your scheduled tour date, we will reimburse 50% of the cost of your tour.
- If you cancel your booking three days or less before your scheduled tour date, we are unable to refund any of the cost.
- If you have booked and paid for a wine tour but are unable to join us on the day and have notified us of this fact at least 72 hours in advance, you will be issued with a credit note to be used within six months of the date of your initial purchase.
- If you fail to arrive for the tour you have booked but have not cancelled your booking in advance, you will lose the full cost of the tour in question.
Secure payment and data protection
All online payments are made using a secure payment system. The payment data we gather is encrypted (https).
We use the personal data we collect about our Customers in accordance with the current European legislation, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This data is processed in a confidential and secure manner.
Les Vins Célestes processes and retains only the data it needs to properly provide the services it offers. Your data is never passed on to third parties.
Limitation of liability
Without limiting the scope of these General Terms and Conditions of Business, no claim for damages of any nature relating to goods and services supplied, failure to supply goods and services or other matters shall exceed the total purchase price of the goods or services giving rise to the claim. Under no circumstances may Les Vins Célestes be held liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage of any nature arising in relation to its goods or services, the use or sale of its goods or services or this website, even if Les Vins Célestes was or could have been aware of the occurrence of such loss or damage.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
Disputes will be settled on the basis of the version of our General Terms and Conditions of Business applicable at the time of purchase. These General Terms and Conditions of Business are governed by French law, in particular by sections L. 441-6 et seq. of the French Trade Code (Code du commerce) to the exclusion of any other, foreign legislation.
In case of dispute, the competent court shall be that with geographical jurisdiction over Les Vins Célestes.

We undertake to respond within eight working days but you will usually receive a reply within 24 to 48 hours.
